Advice please! I’m on Week 3 of Alpha and it’s becoming boring. I find myself slacking and getting distracted because I get bored doing the same things over and over all the time. I’ve been adding in other workouts so I still see progress, but I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem. If so, how do you deal with it so you’re not tempted to just stop doing it? So far the only thing keeping me going on it is the progress pictures I’ve taken. Just curious if anyone has some other tips for me.
I have the same issue, not just with Alpha, but with predictable workouts and all. I finished alpha and moved to beta. Stopped beta at week 4 over the holidays. Resuming next week from w1d1. How I did it? My friends and I (we are three), started a WhatsApp group and we’d post our pictures after every workout. Accountability works. Then, I began to have loud music as I worked out. It helped me because the music is different every day with every workout so that works for me.
I’m the same exact way. I get bored with routine. I jump around through the program or throw in a day from another program. Like today I’m going to go Yoga from P90X3. Try doing a day from Beta or Gamma or do a day of a different program. The point is that you’re still working out.
