Anyone here have NO Gallbladder (as in removed) & been successful on Keto? I don’t have a gallbladder… now I am worried it’s not going to work??

My gallbladder was taken out 2 years ago in an emergency along with pancreatitis and a whole mess of infection. I’ve never truly recovered. I have permanent upset stomachs and always need to know where the bathroom is, but I still have a hard time losing weight. Keto diet caused even more upset and some stomach pains, and basically camping in bathroom a lot of the day, but my doctor is very helpful and guided me to high dose enzymes to try and breakdown the fats. It’s too soon to tell you if it’s working, but I’m hopeful. The diet is working; I’d just like to be less uncomfortable in my tummy.

Me. No gallbladder and i can do keto…I’m iffy with coconut oil or bullet proof coffee. But I’ve also had weight loss surgery. Sometimes I can. Sometimes i get sick…50/50 shot.

Had my gallbladder out 5 years ago. Been on keto 1.5 weeks and lost 7lb so far.. Has helped my bloating and stomach cramps and frequent need to use the bathroom after eating.. So much better way of eating imo.

I had mine out in 2000 and I lose weight faster on Keto and low carb then any low fat diet. Lost 70 pounds in 4 months. Now starting over. Lost 30 pounds in 3 months.
