Anyone just lift weights? I’m 6 months out of surgery. I’ve lost 96lbs so far. I like to run but I have MS and sometimes my legs say no way….also, I get bored. Right now I only have time on my lunch break to work out. I’ve been doing a Beginning weight lifting routine, since October, takes me about 40 min. I like the results so far but am wondering should I really incorporate more cardio. Any thoughts?
I pretty much only lift. I have 4-5 heavy lifting sessions each week. The only cardio I do is a take a small 15-25 walk at lunch – but that’s more for the mental stress relief then “cardio” purposes. (Also, I’ve lost 160+ lbs since my surgery 16 months ago).
