Anyone on anxiety meds? I’ve suffered from anxiety for years but it got worse after my son almost 4 years ago. I put put in anxiety meds after he was born and gained 50lbs so I quit taking it. I get so worked up and angry which is not a good combination when you have a stubborn threenager. I need something but terrified to take something that makes weight loss harder. I’m only 9 weeks post op and don’t need any hurdles, Ive battled my weight so long and I finally have help, don’t want to fight against that.

Ask your doctor for the GeneSight swab test. The test will tell the doctor what medications work for your dna. It saves a lot of hassle and money by trying different meds.
There are 3 classes of drugs. Green is a go, yellow is ok but with minor side affects, and red is a no go…
It is well worth it. Medicaid pays 100% of the test.
My insurance didn’t pay all of it..I paid $330. But if you for into an income bracket, you may pay as little as $75. Like I said, well worth it.

Have you looked at therapy and getting your thyroid checked? Women, I’ll say this again and again, if our thyroid s are off it can cause depression and anxiety.
