I have four very young kids and I plan on the morning and try to keep it some things they know and one new thing a couple times a week. I buy bulk it helps with cost over time. But try to keep it simple don’t go above and beyond every night.
Also, due to my weight I’ve maintained it through the pregnancy with supervision. I’m not starting to prep for the next couple months and beyond to try to fully shed. I’ve lost weight before, but there’s a bunch of backstory with why I gained back.
I have six including a one year old. Easiest way for me is to make a grilled meat, a green veggie, then a carb for them. Sometimes, I just cook whatever for them like pizza or spaghetti, but have my own meal as well. I’ve kept my keto super simple. I don’t do all of the desserts, keto breads, or anything like that. It’s boring, yes, but IDC, and it makes my life easier this way. Easier to calculate macros and log, too.
I try to stick with a similar meal as my carb eating family. example: tonight it was an enchilada bake….they had layered tortillas, chicken , cheese and sauce… in my baking dish I layered everything except the tortillas… baked them alongside each other and served mine with pork rinds. If we do spaghetti, I make meat balls and eat them with the sauce.
