As I was doing the stretch and flex excersises tonight I kept getting nasty foot muscle cramps. They would hit me so hard I had to come out of the pose to massage my feet. What is causing these and what can I do to prevent them from happening in the future?
Could be a potassium or magnesium deficiency, dehydration, or a blood deficiency in more serious cases. I would start with water, making sure you are getting all 3L in per day, as well as keeping food logs to see if you are eating enough of your veggies. Never hurts to consult a doctor, if you feel like it is abnormal for you.
