I think the thyroid is a very delicate & sensitive organ. a lifetime of toxins and inadequate nutrition can weaken it further. I also think that thyroid (toxic load) health gets passed down through generations from parent to child.
It seems every second woman I speak to has some form of thyroid dysfunction.
