Not sure about that. Seen lots of yote sign just nothing moving

I know yotes and rabbit population runs on a cycle here just wondering if low rabbits means low yote population next few years

Lower. They will find other sources but the pups are the ones that will struggle

This time of year the rabbit population is usually at its lowest.
Rabbits are the food for many animals.. the coyotes, hawks, owls, cats, have them well thinned our by this time.
A good spring, rabbits breed and produce a lot of offspring, or they would be extinct. By fall the new crop may be down as much as 2/3 and the remaining are cleaned up through the winter.. spring comes and it starts again.
If the predators are too many, they will clean out the rabbits early.. in their nests.. then by winter,,, that affects the coyote population and they die off, it brings the population down so the rabbits can breed and raise their young through to the next fall
