It’s basically when you limit your carb intake to a point when your body goes into ketosis. In that state your liver produces ketones from the break down of the fats in the liver. Ketosis is a natural state where your body burns ketones (fats) instead of carbs for energy. That way, you end up burning fat at a much faster rate.
