Can someone show me a typical menu for a day on the keto diet? I keep going over my carbs because of thinking the more veggies the better.
Eggs in the am, raspberries/cashews/pepperoni as a lunch snack, dinner is usually something cheesy and meaty with a side of veggies.
Keto is fit-to-size, so one person’s daily intake will differ from your needs. You’re better off and will be more successful using a tracking app and calculating your own macros and eating the carbs that fit into your specific diet.
I downloaded myfitnesspal yesterday and was putting my food intake in there, but I’m low in my fats and high on my carbs. I didn’t realize I need to limit veggies so much.
MFP only calculates total carbs. Try Cronometer. It does net carbs, and has specialized keto settings.
I use an App called Keto Diet and you can set it to count Net Carbs- Carb Grams- Fiber Grams.
