I’m trying to help my friend into doing keto with me. She keeps making excuses about having family who were diabetic (so do I). Can you get into ketoacidosis without being diabetic? She keeps using that as an excuse to not do low carb.
She is just making excuses. You can’t make her join you if she is doesn’t want to. Maybe if she sees how you feel and do on it, she will be more willing. It’s the same with my sister and mother. I just drop it and keto on. If her eating carbs are troublesome to you, you may have to find another activity to do together.
