20” .223 wylde with quality ammo normally does the job well. Wild cat cartridges are cool, but not necessary

If you want the fur, you can’t beat the Lazer flat .204 Ruger. Outperforms the 22-250 in every aspect except energy at any yardage which it actually has too much and blows holes often.

Billet side charge receiver, 20″ fluted Wilson combat tube, and CMT handguard. Shoots one hole groups at 100 with 53gr superformance ammo. It is pretty heavy though! Snatched the life right outta this guy at 308yds.

My AR-15 uses a Phil Wyld chamber for a caliber .223; a Criterion 20” squad designated barrel; Partially Fluted; 1 in 8 twist; Jewel trigger; with a 1 and1/2 lb. pull; Yankee Hill forged upper receiver and a Yankee Hill full float forearm with Picatinny rail on the end; it has a Troy industries low profile gas bloc; the butt stock is a telescoping Vltor with storage tubes. The sling is “ambidextrous” single point attachment. Mounted on top is a Leupold VX-3, 4×14 Scope w/ varmint reticle. It easily puts 5 rounds of 53gr.Hornady V-Max boat tails under a dime at 100 yds. Using 27 gr. CFE .223 powder.

Mostly Aero Precision and Magpul. 18” White Oak 223 Wylde barrel. Trigger is Geissele. Scope is Vortex. 3/4” groups. Barrels, triggers, and glass is where I tell guys to spend their money on.
