Curious to know if anyone is having any success taking turmeric (or saffron) on a daily basis to treat depression or other inflammation. I started having turmeric daily about a week ago and I am having some symptoms (upset stomach, nausea) and I’m not sure whether to persevere. I have always had turmeric regularly in curries but having 2 teaspoons daily is maybe too much?

I buy from LifeExtensions, Advanced Bio-Curcum with ginger and turmerones, works wonderfully for inflammation and inexpensive, ask for a discount.

Dr. Greger recommends 1/4 teaspoon daily — no more than 1 teaspoon daily.

There is a possibility the turmeric is the problem I was taking I teaspoon of turmeric in a 6 ounce glass of water every morning a for a month and it was making me bloated and nauseous too and a pain in the pit of my stomach and gas so I stopped and I felt better I still take it once a day but I just sprinkle it in my oatmeal and tea and that’s all but it does good on my foot for inflammation.
