If one is very short on money and can’t afford Cacao in smoothies for a while, do you think there would be any benefit at all substituting cocoa powder, or would that be a waste of time or even detrimental? What do you think please?

I use the organic Navitas cacao powder. 1 g of saturated fat by 2 1/2 tablespoons.. I only use 1 tablespoon per day. I would think that it is ok right? If not why not?

I’m pretty cheap, so I was buying just regular cocoa powder. Also got Dutched cocoa, that some recipes call for. Was amazed to see Hershey’s warning on it: “According to the Hershey Center for Health and Nutrition, natural, unsweetened cocoa powder can deliver up to 90 percent more antioxidants than Dutch-processed.” So if even Hersheys acknowledges this, I decided to spend the money on the good stuff—about $11 a pound on Amazon—easily 3 times as expensive as cocoa, but apparently worth it…

Buy good quality cocoa. I know greger had put hot cocoa on the app as acceptable before.
