Hey guys so I through my back out just sitting at the kitchen table eating. I have always had bad problems with my lower back, and believe I over worked it doing AB exercises. I don’t do crunches I fallow Ryan’s ab workouts, and believe it’s the plank position workouts that I strained or over worked my Back. Does anyone else have this problem? Are there other workouts I can do for abs that are easy on the lower Back?
I do stand up ab exercises and use the core ball there is a good video on you tube for stand up abs by Shaun T my PT/chiro say that floor ab exercises are one of the worst exercises anyone can do to their back they suggested the core ball & stand up to me. I also can’t plank longer then 2 minutes it hurts so bad.
I’ve thrown my back out quite a few times over the years doing absolutely nothing like you . Sometimes I wonder if maybe I was dehydrated at the time but don’t really know for sure . I don’t think it’s old age cause I did it when I was in my early 20 s too
Be careful with those push ups now too then. give it a couple days, see if you start to feel better. If it’s a disk it won’t feel that much better. May want to consult a dr. Don’t know what back problems you have but maybe a chiropractor (not something I like to do)?? Maybe find some low back stretches to ease into also. Good luck. Feel better.
