Does anyone else’s ketones drop when they are on their period? I generally run about 3.3 this is my first time testing on my period and my ketones have dropped to about 1.6. I eat the exact same thing every day at the same time frame and have the same workout routine.
Yes your cycle messes with ketosis but ketosis is ketosis regardless of how high or low the number is as long as you’re in ketosis range. Also as you go along into keto WOE your periods may go away, come back, but heavier, lighter etc. the hormones being released in your fat takes a toll on them for a while.
