Does anyone have info on what a whole foods plant based diet should look like for someone in recovery from an eating disorder and how much it needs to/should differ from a regular person?

My guess would be everything recommended by Dr. Greger and following the daily dozen to get the minimum, but you would need more than just the minimum.

It would be best to consult with a doctor and a registered dietician because there may be acute deficiencies that need immediate attention.

Dr greger mentions a waist to height measurement and I would assume that and the bmi would be good indicators if you are eating enough calories. Eat to satiety and if you bmi dips to the lower range if normal than increase calories. You will find out what works for you. Sometimes I feel like there isn’t enough space in my stomach, take a break and then finish eating I’m breastfeeding 2 kiddos so I need to pack the food in, even if the volume surpasses the capacity of my stomach. I try to follow the daily dozen and I try to eat enough so I don’t wake up at 2 am starving. But if I do I eat a meal at 2 am. …. I try to listen to my body for hunger cues but really it’s not convenient to go to bed full and wake up hungry. So it’s trial and error with how much I eat for supper.
