Dr greger mentions a waist to height measurement and I would assume that and the bmi would be good indicators if you are eating enough calories. Eat to satiety and if you bmi dips to the lower range if normal than increase calories. You will find out what works for you. Sometimes I feel like there isn’t enough space in my stomach, take a break and then finish eating I’m breastfeeding 2 kiddos so I need to pack the food in, even if the volume surpasses the capacity of my stomach. I try to follow the daily dozen and I try to eat enough so I don’t wake up at 2 am starving. But if I do I eat a meal at 2 am. …. I try to listen to my body for hunger cues but really it’s not convenient to go to bed full and wake up hungry. So it’s trial and error with how much I eat for supper.
