I need some advice on how to deal with a tank after your betta passes away from a fungal infection and parasites. Few questions: Do you have to throw away silk plants or is there a way to make
them safe again for the future? How would one clean the tank to make it safe for the future?
And will I have to restart my cycle and throw the filter away, or can the filter be saved as well?

Soak everything in a 19 part water: 1 part bleach solution, rinse well with water, and let air dry. This will mean you will have to restart the cycle.

Will these steps be successful in sterilizing a tank that had suffered from Camallanus worms? Or are there different procedures?
