Are small amounts of 100% fruit juice allowed when cooking? Example: 1 tbsp pineapple juice on top of steamed veggies?
Yes. In the binder passed out at the Cleveland seminar, there are recipes using a very small amount of juice in dressing recipes.
Just remember that juice that it has no fiber in it it needs always to be combined with fiber rich whole foods, like whole intact grains, or steel rolled oats, or a big salad …you choose!!
Right. Juices are not allowed for drinking by the glassful – just in small amounts as part of a recipe.
