Has anyone on here tried 12 Hour Intermittent Fasting? If so how were your results and what can and can’t you eat.

Would i need to count calories about how much would i eat a day.

How does fasting not mess with your long term metabolism? In the end, isn’t it better to eat smaller, frequent meals? Asking because I truly don’t know.

12 hours won’t be very effective. Shoot for 16 hour fasts. Reach your daily macros with the typical healthy foods: protein sources (chicken, fish, beef, etc), carbs (brown rice, wheat bread, sweet potatoes, etc), and fats (nuts, avocado, peanut butter, coconut oil, etc.)
