Help please!! I have been leaning toward a vegan diet for almost 2 years now and keep going back to fish and eggs every now and then. This is largely because I dont have really any support from anyone around me in real life who trains 5-7 days a week like I do who are vegan, the ones who do have been pushing either eating meat or tofu on me so hard and saying seeds, nuts, beans and protein powders arent enough.
Can I just please get a sample meal plan from anyone who trains as much as I do of what you eat a day?? Again I dont eat soy, it doesnt agree with my system. I am seriously confused and I just want to be vegan in a healthy sustainable way, while also being able to get fitter, leaner, stronger and faster! Is this even possible???

When i have posted this to other community vegan pages I get backlash for admitting I still occasionally use animal products so I kindly ask you to please not lecture me as I am reaching out for help! I am saying this from a place of love and kindness and would appreciate something similar in return xo I also get “just eat a lot of fruit” which i dont know why that is such a popular response but i dont want to do that either

I’m on the plan and do around 90 mins (60 weights, 30 cardio) in the gym 5 nights a week and then 30 mins cardio on day 6. Food is porridge in the morning with cinnamon, hemp seeds, blueberries. Then 2 or 3 meals throughout the day of spinach or kale, asparagus or courgette or brussel sprouts or broccoli, lentils or quinoa, hemp or flax seeds and sweet potato with one of them. Protein shake (water, banana, protein powder) after workout. Apple as snack. Drink plenty of water. 10 pounds lost in 4 weeks, feeling great! Don’t feel hungry but don’t feel really full either, nourished I guess  hope that helps

I have been vegan 9 years. I am a fitness instructor and train 7 days a week. I supplement with vegan protein shakes and eat fruit and rice n beans, salads. Veggies. I have no health concerns, have tons of energy. I am also 54 yrs old

This is actually what i just naturally crave and want usually but i have been told countless times by my trainers at my gym this isn’t enough so ive been really questioning myself

I’m a big fan of listening to your body, if you’re feeling good then doing something right. People are usually worried because they don’t understand it. There was an article floating around earlier by mens health I think that showed the diets of various vegan male athletes
