Welcome to the start of a journey and we are so happy to have you here A treadmill is an absolutely great start in bettering yourself physically. Walking is a MUST especially at the beginning, you will lose a lot of weight with just walking and a proper nutritious diet. Please do not buy any supplements or pills , they consistently do not work, are not fda approved and it’s usually sold by people that are emotional predators. If you have any questions on where to start with your diet and exercise feel free to ask on this group, alternatively you could PM me, I am not a professional nor I am selling anything but I’ve learned a trick or two . I am also on my weight loss journey as we

Absolutely you can! I recommend using my fitness pal to track your exercise and you can track your calories. It will compute your calorie deficit for you! Or you could get a Fitbit and use that app too.

Walking for weight loss is very good as long as you have good knees. I have a friend who has lost 100 pounds by walking two miles each day in the last year. If your knees bother you, you will need to explore other options, swimming and the recumbent bike are good ones. Remember though, weight loss is 80% nutrition 20% Fitness so get your diet in check. Myfitnesspal app to track everything if you don’t already have it. It’s free.

Jessica it is important to incorporate good diet and exercise. Walking is so great for exercising. Definitely start slow and work your way up to more and more often. I would start with 20 minutes 3 times a week and then work your way up
