Walking is a MUST especially at the beginning, you will lose a lot of weight with just walking and a proper nutritious diet. Please do not buy any supplements or pills , they consistently do not work, are not fda approved and it’s usually sold by people that are emotional predators. Walking for weight loss is very good as long as you have good knees. I have a friend who has lost 100 pounds by walking two miles each day in the last year. If your knees bother you, you will need to explore other options, swimming and the recumbent bike are good ones. Remember though, weight loss is 80% nutrition 20% Fitness so get your diet in check.
