Hi all- I am not one for posting flexy pics (only once on I.G. 2 years ago). So I’m pushing 49 (vegan for almost 24 years) and had lower spine surgery almost 3 years ago. No gym membership. I am a DIYer for the most part. I have a small space: an array dumbbells up to 50 lbs & a pull-up bar. I’ve never been able to do a pull-up until early last year. I thought It just wasn’t in the cards for me as i always thought I just had weak “spaghetti arms” but I was so wrong! (And I even went thru 1.5 rounds of P90X). Finally on my own, I’ve done 4 with nice form and up to a kippy 6. Been working on improving with the advice of YouTube vids and my wise husband. Any other help or advice would be appreciated greatly! Thank you.

Look at those forearm veins! Killing it! Nice definition. Hope I look this shredded at 49!

Thanks, Kristen  some people are grossed out by the veins but hey, veins happen. I’m veiny . There, I’ve said it.

I hope I look like this when I’m 49… hell I’d be happy if I looked like that now! Keep doing you, it’s working!

I love when I’m super lean and can see my veins! I’m a painter and I love drawing fit people. You get to see the layers of the skeletal, muscular, and vascular parts of the body.

You look amazing and I’m so interested in the fact you do it at home with dumbells as I also do. . I thought that would be pretty limiting but obviously not. Inspirational.
