I really struggled with the conscious muscle plan plan as im a newbie to working out so i thought it best to do small group training first.
Ive been training 5-6 times per week for 10 weeks doing 2 strength, 2 hiit, 1 boxing and 1 mixed class at my local gym.
My question is around muscle gains. I m training so hard, lifting heavier and have better endurance but my scans say i havnt gained a single gram of muscle in 10 weeks! My trainer said its probably due to not getting enough protein but i get between 70-90 grams a day.
Any advice or information would be appreciated im so confused

It is more about the calories you consume. You need to have a caloric surplus in order to gain muscle mass. If you are not eating enough calories, you can still become stronger but probably won´t gain any muscle. Are you cutting at the moment?”
“There’s a difference between training and exercising.
Training is progressive, exercising is more for maintenance or enjoyment.
To really be training you have to have some sort of objective measurement of input like weight, reps, etc. And make sure they are increasing.
That’s the downside of classes and boxing, they make you sweaty and out of breath so it makes you feel like you’re doing something but they won’t make you change unless it’s progressive
