Hi all im new to this group and I’m from Australia. I’m overweight and wanna go gym but I scared people will laugh at me as I don’t know what I’m doing.. how do I over come this fear? Thanks

You overcome that fear by going to the gym and learning from the really fit people lol
Just peek at what they’re doing.
Plus a workout buddy would help too I’m sure.

can you book an induction. the instructor will show you what to do. they start you off really slow and show you how to use all the equiptment

Try to remember we all start somewhere those people we are afraid to see us and and are going to laugh at us were not born in a gym they could have started off in a worse place than us and over came it is then as motivation some people in gyms that have over come weight problems love to talk and encorage others in there jeorney and those who are naturally skinny and are going had to start off as well because skinny doesn’t mean fit everyone in that room is there to better them selfs as well you got this don’t hold yourself back.

Let them laugh Tim honestly who cares…I’ve always been overweight and still is but slowly getting back on track…I use to dread entering gym and still do but I slowly learnt not give sh&t about what others think because at the end of the day , no one is perfect.

To be completely honest, no one gives a shit. Most people probably won’t even notice you. The people that do will probably say something internally like good for you. Its never to late to start making good choices.
