Hi all! I’m new to veganism (about 6 months in) and am trying to research what vitamins/supplements I should be taking. B12 is a big one that comes up often. Any other recommendations? I’m a pretty active person, not sure if that makes a difference. Thank

I also take a vitamin D supplement since I don’t get much sun here in Oregon

 I have a multi I take here and there but vitamin d was the big one I was missing from my food intake when I tracked it.

Have you had any blood tests done recently that could tell you if you’re low in anything? I take b12 based on blood results and iron was a little low. No use taking supplements if you don’t actually need them

If you eat Marmite 2 or 3 times a week you probably won’t need vitamin B12 supplements. Note that whilst Vegemite is similar to Marmite, it doesn’t have the B12.

here’s a supplement created by the No Meat Athlete called “Complement”. It’s made specifically for vegans, it has B12, vitamin D and a few others in it
