Cut the intake pickups off really short.

Use something like medium grit industrial quartz. Doesn’t kick up like the pool filter sand.

Getting rid of that oscar and adding 20 ruby nose tetras and adding some cardinal tetras also with the lights low and chill out and sit down and watch the schooling dance begin ol buddy.with led zeplin 3.

Never had this problem, you must be using fairy dust or something not sand.

Bigger sand and maybe a sponge on the intake… it will add more surface area for filtration and keep sand out.
