Hi all need some advice since I found out I’m a type 2 diabetic ive lost a lot of weight im 1.72 m and weighing 72 kg . lost a lot of muscle too. How do i gain weight again im starting this week for tonight?

ull gradually gain it back don’t stress. ur body is in shock and will adjust.

As you get your diabetes in control, things will be back to normal soon, consult with your doctor and dietician.

Even thou u diabetic I know u can still exercise..lift some weights 2 but when it comes to diet or what u should be eating it something that ur Dr was suppose to tell u as his/ her client.

You need lean protein to gain muscle mass. steamed, boiled or grilled meat, white. Meat and grains, peanut. Butter and poiled/poached eggs is good. Then make sure ur portion are right. The amount of carbs in each meal must not be bigger than palm of your. Then veggies half the plate+the protein. That should stabilize your diabetes then weight gain will happen.
