Only following strict diet does not help you reduce weight. One should do exercises regularly and have food on time. Skipping breakfast and having meals is the main cause of gain weight, so eat normal food and drink plenty of water. Reduce the intake of sugar and white rice. Include more nuts and fruits in your intake & if you are ok with eggs then have egg whites every day. This will help you reduce weight within 3 to 4 months.
I do not have any idea about jain vegetarian diet, but to make it clear that losing weight is regardless of what type of feeder you are. All you have to look for is to keep your macronutrients and micronutrients intact. But losing 10 kg in a month is quite on the higher side of the scale.
I am not saying it is impossible but it will like literally take away everything from you at one go. If your body and you mentally are ready to withstand the withdrawals then go for it, otherwise rebound would do more damage. If you will not like the withdrawal then it is likely that you will get depressed and will start eating more and will put on more weights. Plus losing weight this fast makes body injury prone.

And you can achieve that with any diet. Just be in a calorie deficit of 500, either eat less or spend more to do that.
