How many of you are very picky eaters? I find it a major struggle post op to get all of my protein in. I hate shakes, lunch meat, peanut butter and yogurt . It’s caused me to feel very sick with dizziness. PCP said it’s vertigo. I’m 10 1/2 months post op, had the bypass. Any ideas on how to overcome this? I bought unflavored protein powder but most things you mix it with I also don’t care for

Vertigo can be from low B12. Are you taken the fast melts?

Try 2% cottage cheese with any or all of these. 1 tsp Polnar real fruit jam ( I like blueberry)
1Tbs peanut butter 1/4 skinned , chopped apple or pear or peach.

Soups. Homemade. Minestrone with 3 small chicken meatballs,
Italian wedding soup,
Chili,
Boneless Grilled chicken thighs

I’m also a picky eater. I don’t eat cheese or yogurt, and I can’t stand protein powder. So for snacks I usually eat jerky (beef or chicken) and nuts. The only protein water I can stand is Trimino strawberry lemonade.

Have you tried NECTAR protein? It comes in 17 different flavors a lot of are various fruit flavors It is thin, more like Kool aid that the thick “milkshake”. I like the Roadside Lemonade, Ice tea, Strawberry-Kiwi yum. They even have coffee flavors. Amazon sells it by the big container but I by the multi-pak which has one of each of the 17 flavors and it’s individually packaged so easy to take anywhere. It mixes smooth no grittiness.
