Getting rid of soda is a great first step. Getting sugar out of your system will help with cravings which in turn should reduce food consumption, which should cause weight loss. It is a slow process. Do yourself a favor and set smaller goals along with an overall goal to reach. Determination WILL get you there.
I have lost weight in the past by switching from soda to water. I don’t remember how much I lost, though. I’ve just started again. I drank 2 33.8oz bottles of water yesterday and felt like I was going to explode. I guess it takes time to build up how much you can drink.
