I had high cholesterol too, I think because I am a vegetarian, so I gravitate towards poorer choices, also my dad had high cholesterol! I now eat Whole Foods and work out!

No I eat no oils but I do eat raw nuts and 3 avocados a week and the same weight for 20 years 120 pounds at 5 foot 6 inches.
