I am starting keto TOMORROW and I’m a bit confused I got portabella mushrooms to make pizzas on and now I’m confused because I read that my sauce has 2 carbs but then I saw it has 3 grams of sugar. How does this work is there a daily allowance of sugar as well? I’m so overwhelmed with this?

I make almost everything homemade, including sauce. That way I don’t add extra sugar, but can add extra oil.

I don’t count sugar really, but it’s ideal to stay under 45g a day! It’s not hard on keto, I never go over.

Yea, keto is generally 25 and under. The closer you are to 50, you risk coming out of ketosis. It can take a week to get back in.
