I am starting the keto diet Monday and I am REALLY excited to start this journey but the only thing I’m discouraged about is what I am able to drink. I’ve never been a water drinker and I am not sure if I can handle exclusively drinking water starting off. WHAT ELSE CAN I DRINK that is keto approved? I love diet Mountain Dew and crystal light but I’ve seen those are a no no. help!!!!

I have started and drink coke cherry zero and sprite zero as an alternative for pop for now because it’s hard to stop cold turn and the sprite zero tastes the same as regular sprite plus I do propel lots of water (I hate drinking water but do it because it helps lose weight) or flavor my water.

The sprite and coke zeros are zero sugar zero carbs I figure as starting out its better than drinking regular but I plan to keep it to a minimum.

I stated out with flavored water, but limited it. I used to be a HUGE soda drinker, just about all I drank. 3 months later soda doesn’t sound good at all. I still don’t drink as much water as I should but I enjoy it now. I had one diet Pepsi and seemed like the next day I had cravings and was constantly hungry, don’t know if it’s related but I feel like it was. So wing yourself off if you can, you’ll be glad you did.

Add fruit to your water like strawberries and blueberries they truly benefit you too.

Sparkling ice, they’ve a variety of flavors. Places that carry them Walmart, Kroger, dollar general….almost everywhere now.  Also these colas have zero carbs zero sugar.
