The heavier the weight reduce the reps (inverse). Lighter the weight higher the reps

Should I be doing a mix of both light n higher reps and heavy with less reps? For example Monday heavy, Wed light etc etc?

Don’t get discouraged, everyone has their starting point and it takes time to build strength. Focus on your form and controlling the weight, don’t just toss it around. Find a good training partner that can spot and help you push past your max

Just keep pushing. Don’t rush it. 3 weeks your body is still in shock mode. You have to strength train to gain strength. It’ll come just don’t quit. Concentrate on volume and form first.

It’s up to you and your body. I push myself for heavy weights because I know the results and outcome
