I love the above comments and wanted to add that working out shouldn’t feel like a punishment that you “have to do” but look for something “you look forward to!” Some people love weights…others cardio…some love to run…others Zumba …biking outdoors etc. Find what moves you and Ricky said it perfectly when it comes to nutrition…
First step..quit allowing negative thoughts inside your head. What we spend our time thinking about…comes true! BELIEF that you can and will accomplish your goal is the first step! Sounds cheesy but true. Maybe get some good books (inspirational or self talk books) or watch some positive You Tube videos to begin your day every day! I still do this because it makes my mindset strong for the day! Don’t focus on the end result…just focus on what you can do today and small daily changes to your routine add up to lifelong habit changes:).
Believe it or not. If you can just find the right healthy foods you’ll start feeling better and get energy to do things. You’re body is going to react to how you feed it.
Feed it garbage, you’ll feel like garbage.
Feed it good. You’ll feel good.
It sounds like you’re being to hard on yourself. The key is to make you’re lifestyle work in with your workouts and eating eg. If your cooking for a family “instead of cooking an entire different meal” just look at your portion sizes. For your workouts, slow and steady is the key, it’s better to workout two times a week for 6months than everyday for 3 weeks? It’s about finding what works for YOU and then work your life around it
