I have 2 canister filters. Based on my tank set up I used all the hoses on 1 canister. I want to get the 2nd one functional, what are good substitutes for tubing on a canister filter? Would garden hose and those metal pipe clamps people use on radiator hoses in their cars work?

I have a 75g above an empty 60g I put the canister in the 60 so if something happens I’m mostly safe lol I also keep my extra fish stuff in there as like storage.

It’s probably just easier and more reliable to buy replacement tubing for it, I’m sure what you’re talking about could work though.

Home Depot or Lowe’s has tubing for a good price.

Hardware stores have clear vinyl tubing, and yes bks2e clamps will work, also they make nylon EZ clamps.

Go on Amazon and by new tubing would be the best solution in my mind shouldn’t cost you over 20 bucks.
