I have 3 halfmoons in a divided tank from almost 10 months…tank is filtered and heated with silk plants ,betta hammocks.. .tank is bare bottom for easy cleaning….today I got 3 morimo moss balls …one for each of three sections….balls were sent in wet position in plastic ziplock packing….I have placed balls in a separate container in cold water so get them saturated….balls have sinked properly to bottom….sorry for long description ,now my question is that how shod I introduce balls to a heated tank(google says moss balls are found in cold lakes)….wt care shod I take while adding balls to tank….wt to do to give food/nutrition to moss balls???

Just toss them in there. Moss balls are practically indestructible.

No, they are almost unkillable.

Moss balls don’t need food. As far as care, just squeeze them out during water changes. Roll then around every so often so it isn’t just one spot getting light.
