I have a 75 gallon tank that’s been established for 4 months. In it I have a few kribensis, some serpae and bleeding heart tetras, a dozen tiger barbs, a few zebra danios and some cory cats. Do you think I could add a couple angel fish to this tank? I’ve read different opinions on this and I really like the look of angels, but I don’t want to have them die or kill anything else. Up till now, there’s been no nipping or conflict of any sort. I just ran into a few dollars that I haven’t got spent yet and it’s been a couple weeks since I got new fish. Thanks for any opinions.

I’ve been doing this a long time so it may be easier for me but if everything is going well I would leave it be. I know that’s easier said than done.

If you want some nice finnage Pearl gourami or a 3 spot may be able to better deal with the tigers. Or you could just do dwarf Cichlids. Tigers can be so iffy.

I have a dwarf gourami with a mix of 7 Barb’s 2 gold Barb’s 1 rosey Barb’s an 5 green tiger Barb’s. The Barb’s ignore the dwarf and the dwarf ignores everything but me at feeding.

Tiger Barbs might nip at Angel’s fins.

Those long angle fins are too much temptation. Unless you like stubby angles, don’t do it.
