Need a little help fella’s! I have a forced air furnace, it works for awhile then shuts off before it’s at the desired temp. Turn the thermostat off then on again & it works again for awhile. Battery is at 11.9v. Plug the generator in & everything works as it should. I’m lost!

Not enough volts. I believe you need 12.1 or 12.4v.

Load test the battery, that’s not testing for voltage its testing for current buy a load tester or go to an auto parts store, they will test.

If it works with the Generator and not the battery, the battery is probably shot and not holding a charge.
