I have a question about these crunches we keep doing… I’m mimicking the exact motion Jaana and team are doing with these crunches (which is essentially popping your breasts/ tummy out and in) and I’m not feeling any soreness from it like when you do a regular ab workout.

It’s making me feel like I’m doing it wrong- are u guys getting sore and feeling the abs the way jaana says you should in the video?

Keep your transverse abdominus tight the whole time you are dancing and crunching. To ferl them get tight mimic like you are blowing out a candle the part of your stomach that geta tight is the rectus abdominus the muscles that will make your waist smallet. At first it is hard to keep them tight at all times, but any time you feel like they are not tight breath out like you are blowing a candle again

You aren’t just popping your chest in and out. You are standing with your core engaged then doing a standing crunch.

Found such better results focusing on form first. Think of a cord attached to your belly button going straight back through spine. As you crunch, pull cord from b button to spine. Careful not to let buns pop out and think of keep alignment by keeping lower back pressing flat vs. Curling out.
Then stretch hip flexors and think lift chest muscles, shoulders back in alignment with ears.
It helps to slooowww it down and practice in a mirror focusing on form. Going to do a Facebook live soon in our modified group.
