I have a question….i am on day 9 of eating healthy and exercising. I know I shouldn’t be checking the scale everyday but I can’t help it. I was down 4 pounds 2 days ago and then I gained a pound and then another .5 today. I Am not calorie counting but have changed my diet drastically and haven’t cheated. I was gonna give it another week to see if this continues but wondering if calorie counting is something that u have to continue after you reach your goal? Not something I really want to do forever….but willing to try to get to my goal. Any advice?

If you haven’t done so already, take your measurements. When I was losing, I got so frustrated at not seeing the scales move, until I broke out the measuring tape! I was losing inches instead of pounds. Still a win!

My weight changes every day, I use a measure tape. I still use a scale but only once a week when I first get up

Don’t trust the scale! Your weight will fluctuate by as much as 8 pounds a DAY due to various things like sodium intake and water retention!
Go by a WEEKLY average to see the true level of fat loss!
