I have been on Keto for over 2 years, but just started a week ago the 80 day obsession on beach body. This is my 1st time really using weights and do HIIT. I’m generally a walker- 3-4 miles a day. I sit at desk all day so it’s my only way to get real movement in. lol.. My question is 2 parts 1) I’m only eating when hungry which is generally 1-2 times a day at most. is that enough right now as I start this program and 2) I know that when you start this type of program as muscle build ( tear and repair, build cycle) , you tend to gain weight (probably water I assume) how long before that stops or does it ever?
Ok. So this is going to be my plan. I’m going to start eating at least 2 times a day. (I’m usually IF naturally because not hungry most days 18 hours) I will go a little higher on my protein- not a problem here, and not go on the scale for the next month. I have already taken my measurements and pics and see where I am at the end of the 1st 4 weeks.
I started Jan 1 with beachbody and even got the sampler of shakeology. Tried for 4 weeks without the crazy expensive supplements and am coming back to keto. All that effort to stay the same weight and hardly any inches lost is not a life improvement. If I hear “trust the process” one more time I will scream.
