I have done keto on and off for a year, more on than off. I have serious chocolate cravings. I’ve tried about a dozen mousse or various chocolate recipes but I literally can’t stand the taste of erithyrotol, stevia, Splenda, swerve or anything of the like. It leaves a terrible taste in my mouth and I can’t get over it. I’d rather eat no deserts than something with those substitutes. Suggestions? Am I lacking a vitamin supplement that will curve the cravings?

Magnesium. All electrolytes. Give up anything sweet, even ketofied stuff for at least 30 days and you will lose the taste for it.

Sucralose drops saved my hot tea. I can’t stand the other sweeteners, and one drop is enough for a mugful of tea or cocoa.

If you’d be happy with super dark chocolate, some believe that this is indicative of a magnesium craving. If it’s strictly sweet chocolate you want then I’d add chromium to you supplements. This is sometimes used to curb sugar cravings.
