I have done keto on and off for about a year, more on than off. I have serious chocolate cravings. I’ve tried about a dozen mousse or various chocolate recipes but I literally can’t stand the taste of erithyrotol, stevia, Splenda, swerve or anything of the like. It leaves a terrible taste in my mouth and I can’t get over it. I’d rather eat no deserts than something with those substitutes. Suggestions? Am I lacking a vitamin supplement that will curve the cravings?

If you’d be happy with super dark chocolate, some believe that this is indicative of a magnesium craving. If it’s strictly sweet chocolate you want then I’d add chromium to you supplements. This is sometimes used to curb sugar cravings.

Sucralose drops saved my hot tea. I can’t stand the other sweeteners, and one drop is enough for a mugful of tea or cocoa.

Get 90% chocolate bars from lindt. A little square should help alleviate it. Chocolate is not bad for you without all the sugar.
