I keep trying to get my fruit in but it just gives me a stomach ache. My diet had always been very veg heavy and fruit light before trying this lifestyle. Do we know if dr greger has said anything on the subject?

You can eat berries to fulfill your fruit check marks, you’d just need to eat more. Keep trying new fruits; I hope you find some that work for you. Have you ever had any allergy testing done?

Most people have trouble eating their veg, whilst overdoing the fruit. My regular 3 DD fruits are an avocado, an apple and a banana.

I tend to struggle getting in my fruits too. I always get I my berries but struggle to fit in the fruit.

I can’t fit fruit into my meals, except for berries in my morning oats , so I make sure to have a fruit snack between breakfast and lunch, between lunch and dinner, and then a bit before bedtime.

I have trouble with fruits too. I can’t eat fruits that are high in FODMAPs (a type of carbohydrate) like apples. Another method to try with fruits is to only eat the fruit on an empty stomach because it digests faster. Do these BEFORE you eat other slower digesting foods and you may avoid a lot of turbulence.
