Not brown rice it’s a complex carb and while building muscle I would cut my cardio down a bit to maybe a mile 3-4 times a week

lift everyday I do an hour of cardio or 5 miles. Or 40 minute of hit training. I lift and I lift heavy I’m seeing muscle mass but I won’t growth. I eat 3 meals 2 to 3 snacks . Veggies proteins nuts fruits but I eat small portions. I still want to lose but I don’t want to look skinny

When you are bulking you want to do 1-2 Pounds of protein high carbs preferably complex carbs and a pretty good amount of good fats also. This will help you build lean muscle

So Gary if I do boiled eggs turkey bacon and protein shake for breakfast, oatmeal for snack, flank steak broccoli or spinach for lunch, walnuts or almonds for snack, tuna/salmon spinach or asparagus for dinner, maybe apple later? Am I headed in the right direction? I can’t each much so I have to eat lite
