I started doing this exercise for my lats… Man what a difference!
First set I do 20 reps to failure, rest, add weight do 15, rest, add weight do 10, rest, add weight do 5 reps. Each set I go until I can’t do a full rep in good form emphasizing the negative really feeling my lats open up. Muscles always pull insertion towards the origin.

Great way to attain muscle failure. I find as I go down the rack you can focus more on your form and beat the crap out of the muscle you’re targeting.
