I started WFPB in July of last year; I lost weight quickly but then came to a stop in September.
Finally figured out I needed more fats so I’ve been eating more avocados and nuts and I’ve lost two pounds in the past week!
All sorts of nuts really, in the form of nut butter too. Lots of walnuts. I eat at least double the DD serving of them, most days.
I believe the serving size for an avocado is 1/8 but I eat at least 1/2 of a small one.. I eat almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts (once a week), sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
Yup! I have dropped so much weight unintentionally from adding more nuts! If you want to know why nuts in particular have this affect, there are some good passages from the book on it.
