I went to check the almond flour it’s costing $30, the coconut $10. I can’t find half n half. If I invest in this flour how many times can I cook with it? It’s packaged 500g. Is there an alternative?
Before I bought any of the specialty stuff, I found recipes that I wanted to try. Then I looked up other recipes that used that ingredient. I won’t buy something if I’m going to use it for only one meal.
I have used a tiny bit of coconut flour but otherwise I don’t use them. I bread things with shredded parmesan cheese.
There is no requirement for these flours. Simple fresh food to start. Meat, eggs, cheese, green vegetables and salted butter is all you need to start.
